We’re back from sold out events in Japan, Perth and Adelaide and are ready to kick off the New Zealand leg of the tour in Christchurch. We’re coming in hot with an epic lineup of pinot (obviously), food and more. Here’s all your 2019 highlights!

Headlined by some People’s Choice faves, we’re pretty excited about these wines. There will more than 100 wines on offer so you better come in with a plan. And remember, all wine tastes are included. No bloody tokens!

LIVE AUSTRALIA!

Australia is a BIG country so, as you can imagine, the styles of pinot noir that you find here are as varied and diverse as the people themselves. There’s light and ethereal examples from the Yarra Valley, fuller flavoured from Mornington, super fresh styles from Tasmania, the wildness of the Adelaide Hills and everything else in between.

Australian pinot noir has never been better and, with around 15 different regions producing excellent quality examples, there is much to explore.

Which is why we’re again bringing you the LIVE AUSTRALIA stand to Christchurch for the first time. Here you’ll get to try a range of wines that we recon are pretty bloody cool and worth seeking out. In fact, many aren’t even available in NZ!

WHAT WE’RE EATING

You can’t live on Pinot Noir alone, (haven’t we all tried?!) so we’ll have these legends there on the day to properly feed you. Our good mate, and local legend, Jonny Schwass is back again with all his delicious treats.

Here’s what he’ll be cooking up for us:

Tartare in a Jar
handcut raw beef, traditional accoutrements. salt & vinegar chips

Smoked Duck Cone
organic black cabbage, duck fat turnips, whippped liver black sesame yoghurt

Botanic Cheese Burger
100% brisket, edam cheese, burger sauce, lettuce, pickles

Akaroa Salmon Crudo
soused diakon, horseadish & mustard creme friache, smoked pumpkin, midnight rye

Organic Carrot Cake
canterbury walnuts, vanilla frosting

Quattro Formaggio Tramezzini
four cheese italian snack sandwich
