YERING STATION // Yarra Valley, VIC - PINOT PALOOZA Skip to main content

Yering Station is a family-owned and -operated winery in the Yarra Valley, about 50km north-east of Melbourne. Its team, led by winemaker Brendan Hawker, is a young, humble group of people who are all passionate about growing grapes and making wine.

Of the 100 hectares farmed at Yering Station, around a third is planted with pinot noir. The oldest pinot vines are 32 years old, although there are other vines on the property that have been there since 1838!

If you’d like to visit Yering Station, the cellar door is open daily from 10am for tastings. You can take the experience up a notch too by booking in for a private VIP tasting, or by staying for lunch in the on-site restaurant. Keep an eye out for any of the staff members’ dogs who might be roaming around… including Peggy the Frenchie!

Queen. Because they rock.

Best music to listen to during vintage?
’90s hip hop.

Where do you pinot?
Anywhere after midday.

Where can we buy your wine?
Yering Station is available at both the major and boutique wine retailers, but if you’re after our full range then our cellar door and website are best.  We also have a Wine Club – a quarterly shipment that is made up of current and back vintages. If you love wine and just want it to keep arriving on your doorstep without having to lift a finger, then our Wine Club is a great way to experience Yering Station wines all the time!
