Situated in the Eola-Amity Hills AVA, surrounded by picturesque gardens and streams, and with sweeping views across the valley, Craig and Gabriele Keeler’s beautiful 40-acre vineyard, winery and tasting room is where “land, wine, wine and intention all come together.”

The certified organic and biodynamic vineyard is home to some of the region’s best pinot noir, pinot gris, chardonnay and riesling – all of which benefit from the famous Van Duzer winds. The cooling breeze helps to retain good acidity and balance in the fruit during the warm ripening season, while polyculture farming creates a natural ecosystem that encourages diversity and sustainability.

In the winery, winemaker Kevin Healy uses native yeast fermentation and minimal manipulation to create some wonderfully individual wines that speak of place (check out his skin-contact pinot gris). He ages the wines in concrete eggs, concrete dolia and terracotta amphora, along with the more conventional stainless steel and French oak barrels.

In the tasting room, mod-European fare and cosy interiors make for an inviting place to spend a long, un-rushed afternoon, or you can bring the family, order a picnic basket, and spend an afternoon enjoying the serene surrounds.
